Skin tells the story of Adam and Eve, set in modern-day Riga. Looking for love in the concrete jungle, they get tempted by allures of the city, money and fame.
The original play, written by one of the brightest contemporary Latvian poets Inga Gaile, is staged for the first time by director Andrejs Jarovojs.
“Jarovojs has polished Skin to perfection. Add a little bit of poetry magic that tinkles in this staging, and it’s clear to see – like a refined wristwatch this production ticks in the rhythm of the heart.” Theatre critic Zane Radzobe, national newspaper Diena
