From 21 to 23 May, Theatre on Ģertrūde Street will host a showcase of the most prominent Lithuanian independent theatre
MMLAB (Meno ir mokslo laboratorija). The programme includes three performances by renowned contemporary stage artists and collectives, which challenge and invite to reconsider the existing order of things.
The showcase will include Laura Kutkaite's
performative lecture on pleasure TREMOLO, Naubertas Jasinskas and Matas Dirgincius's
one-act play on openness and sensitivity PILENAI*, as well as Greta Grinevičiute's
Dance for a Cigarette and a Best Friend.
The performances will be provided with a translation into Latvian and English.
The showcase in Riga is financially supported by the Lithuanian Cultural Council and the Vilnius City Municipality, which gives the opportunity to gift the most enthusiastic viewers:
